Information

Annual gridded emission by compound and selected sectors are available for download in 3 different spatial resolutions:

0.1 x 0.1 degree (as zipped txt file, emission value representing lower left corner of grid cell)
0.1 x 0.1 degree (netcdf)
datafiles with area per grid cell can be downloaded here: 1x1 (257 Kb), 0.5x0.5 (1.02 Mb), 0.1x0.1 (25.33 Mb)

Large scale biomass burning +

Emissions from savannah burning (4E) and land use change and forestry (5) are not gridded. For more information on gridding of forest fires, grassland fires, savanna burning and other vegetation fires in the period 1997-2005 please visit the GFED website and for the period 1970-1996 please visit the RETRO website.
