The Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR) provides global past and present day anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants by country and on spatial grid.
EDGAR aims to inform scientists and policy makers on the evolution of the emission inventories over time for all world countries and to provide the scientific community 0.1degX0.1deg gridmaps representing the emissions sources.
EDGAR contributed to research projects with advice on emission gridmaps and timeseries.
