In support to the Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants an integrated assessment was carried out to analyse the impact of world-wide black carbon (BC) and methane (CH4) measures on the climate, human health and vegetation growth. The measures were derived by IIASA's Mitigation of Air pollution & Greenhouse gases program and the most effective ones were assessed in detail. A first screening of the measures was done with the FASST-tool of JRC-IES, which helped in ranking the measures. The EDGAR team of JRC-IES contributed with gridding and gapfilling for a few remote countries and all emission gridmaps are collected on this page. Emission gridmap improvements were taken up in the Options report (with the CRYO girdmaps for flaring). The emissions were fed into the GISS model by the climatologists of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) to assess the impact of each measure on the climate. The scenarios were also run with the ECHAM-HAMMOZ model
